A. P. Unnikrishnan (1964 - 5 July 2024) was an Indian politician from the Indian Union Dalit League (Caste wing of the Indian Union Muslim League). He served as the General Secretary of Indian Union Dalit League and as President of Malappuram District Indian Union Muslim League. He also served as the district panchayat member of Trikkalangod in Malappuram district in 2015 and 2020. Personal life AP Unnikrishnan was born in Vengara, Malappuram District in 1964. Death and tributes AP Unnikrishnan died of age-related disease at Karuna Cancer Centre at Palathingal near Tirurangadi. He was taken to Parappanangadi, and died there at a Karuna palliative care centre. Unnikrishnan was 60. Political views Unnikrishnan was known as the Dalit face of the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) and a close associate of the Panakkad family. |
