A Voice Still Heard

2009-10-12   There are those who would say the holocaust never happened. That what has been reported in word and photos is pure fantasy and a grossly exagerated depiction of the normal human casualties that will happen during any conflict. It is critical that those voices that once were able to relate the brutality of an era where human conduct allowed such savage commitment, never be stilled. That through the imagery of the picture, the films made by those who participated in this obscenity and the words of the survivors be engraved in the minds of future generations. It is owed those who can no longer testify to the horrors of that period. Unless hindered or refused by current proponents of erasing the memory of the holocauset, the cacophony of the cries of the slaughtered must continually resound through the halls of every government. We owe those who perished a clarion call to assure such a hideous disregard for human life never occur again. But this can only happen when honest legislators make sure that the small but dissonent elemnt on the left do not succeed in banishing this remeembrance from our children's education for years to come.
