The A Plan is a purchasing incentive offered by the Ford Motor Company to its employees that gives an added discount on the purchase of new vehicles from Ford or any of its subsidiaries (Ford, Mercury, Lincoln, Mazda, Volvo, Land Rover, and Jaguar). Immediate family members can also participate in the A Plan.
The process is: The purchaser applies for a code from Ford Motor Company. Once the code is received, the purchaser simply takes it to the dealer and a percentage of the vehicle cost is taken off of the total invoice for the vehicle. This percentage can vary drastically between models, trims, and the amount of added features. Usually the A Plan will save the buyer anywhere from 500–5000.
