"A Garagem da Vizinha" (The Neighbour's Garage) is one of Quim Barreiros' biggest hits. He is also known for hits such as "A Cabritinha" (The Little Goat) about a man who enjoyed sucking his little goat's tits and "Mariazinha", when he asked this woman, "Maria" (or Mary), to let him go to the kitchen to smell her "codfish"... most of his songs are full of ambiguous words, often filled with an obvious sexual connotation, very notable in this song. Mr. Barreiros enjoys a cult-like following among college students and performs each year in some reputed universities of Portugal. The song begins with the words "A minha vizinha é boa, da garagem vou cuidar", literally "My neighbour is so good, I'll take care of her garage". Vizinha is the feminine form of vizinho, so all the song is about his female neighbour. In Portuguese, the adjective boa (masculine: bom) has various meanings, and it can be translated not only as good, kind, but also as "hot",or "sexy".
