920A Property Accounting Technician

Property Accounting Technician are Warrant officers that can be either supply branch of medicine (medical logistics) or base supply. They deal with the supply management, property books (also called equipment accounts), and logistics supervision requirements for the Department of the Army. They coach and train staff in the proper use of equipment accountability and supplies. They are the property book officers (PBO) or medical equipment officer management officers.

Current minimum requirements
Many hold a MOS 68J (Medical Supply Specialist), have 50 months experience, college level English as well as 24 months in a supervisory position as PBO.
Once, accepted, Warrant Officers (WO) proceed to AMEDD officers school Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio , TX. In TX, they learn about medical maintenance and property book management techniques. Many seek out certifications within their field such as Certified Materials & Resources Professional.
