Plot
Mamerto Borrego (Lalo el Mimo) is a 41-year-old man who after the death of his mother tries to seek happiness and the ideal woman to love, with the help of his psychiatrist.

The movie was filmed in Acapulco.
The film was released on 4 November 1982 and was screened in the cinemas Sonora, Tlatelolco, Tlalpan, Mitla, Ermita, Bahía, Elvira, Piscis, Las Torres 5, Villa de las Flores, Maravillas, Aragón 1, Arte Cinema Azteca, Ecatepec 1, Fausto Vega and Aries, for two weeks.
Reception
In Nuevo cine mexicano by Gustavo García and José Felipe Coria, the film is described as part of a group of Mexican films from the early 1980s "in which sex is an existential need and the albur an affirmation of a classism in reverse."
