247 Asian Media is an English-language website providing coverage of K-pop, Japanese pop culture, Chinese pop culture, Vietnamese pop culture, and Thai pop culture. The site also covers Asian American spotlights, Kdrama updates Anime, and current events and news in Asia. Founded in 2012 as 24-7KPOP, 247 Asian Media is a source of Korean popular culture, and it and its social media sites are visited for Korean music and entertainment news. The site is reached mainly by English readers, with a large percentage of visitors from the United States, Canada, Mexico, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, and European countries. Around 20% of the site's readership comes from the United States. History 247 Asian Media was founded in 2012 by American web designer and photographer, Kim Lee, to provide coverage of Asian Culture. Started under the name 24-7KPOP, the name was changed in mid-2013 to reflect coverage of all Asian media. The site interviews Asian celebrities , covers events within the Asian entertainment community, and offers readers prizes and giveaways.
