21C Media Group is an independent New York City-based public relations, new media, marketing and consulting firm specializing in classical music and the performing arts.
The company represents a roster of individual artists, arts organizations, media entities and record labels. 21C Media Group offers various promotional services including publicity, digital marketing, video production and consulting.
History
21C Media Group was founded in January 2000 by former record industry executives Albert Imperato, Jessica Lustig and Glenn Petry. 21C Media Group was the project architect of the inaugural YouTube Symphony Orchestra, which debuted at Carnegie Hall on April 15, 2009, and the artistic director of the 2011 YouTube Symphony Orchestra summit at the Sydney Opera House. The company is credited as the producer, writer, and director of several classical music videos, including Deborah Voigt: The Return of the Little Black Dress, three videos for New York Philharmonic Music Director Alan Gilbert's production of Le Grand Macabre, and Run Gil Run for violinist Gil Shaham. In February 2010, 21C Media Group worked with the World Economic Forum to produce its 40th-anniversary concert at Carnegie Hall.
