2020 Isle of Man TT

The 2020 Isle of Man Tourist Trophy was an event scheduled to be held from Sunday 31 May to Friday 12 June 2020.
However, as a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic, an announcement was made by the Isle of Man Department for Enterprise on 16 March 2020, stating that the event would be cancelled.
A series of four virtual Isle of Man TT races were hosted during the 6th and 12th June 2020. A number of race competitors, including Isle of Man TT lap record holder Peter Hickman were paired with experienced egamers. Highlights of the Virtual TT races were broadcast on the UK terrestrial TV channel ITV4 on Wednesday 17th June 2020.
A charity cycle-ride around the Isle of Man TT Mountain Course was held on the date of the cancelled Senior TT Race day, which included a number of Isle of Man TT competitors and the also the former Olympic Games Gold medal winning cyclist Peter Kennaugh.
