On 1 September 2019, a medevac King Air 350 crashed on a private resort in Laguna, Philippines, killing all nine people on board. The flight, which comes from Dipolog Airport in the province of Zamboanga del Norte lost radar contact at around 15:10 PST while flying nautical miles from Manila. Accident The King Air 350, a medevac, flew from Dipolog Airport to bring patient, Tom Carr, a New Zealander from , to Manila. Along with him are Capt. Jesus Fernandez (pilot), First Officer Lino Cruz Jr. (co-pilot), Dr. Garret Garcia (physician), nurses Kirk Eion Badilla and Yamato Togawa, Ryx Gil Laput, flight mechanic Raymund Bulacja, and his wife Erma which was the unlisted passenger. Eric Apolonio, a spokesman of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, said the light plane was on a medical evacuation flight from southern Dipolog city in Zamboanga del Norte province and disappeared from radar for unknown reasons as it flew over Laguna, about 60 kilometres south of the capital.
