The 2005 Dubbo New Years Eve Riot was a disturbance in a housing estate in Dubbo in New South Wales on the 31st of December 2005. During the night two police officers were injured and one car set alight. The violence began after police arrested a 16 year-old male who was allegedly driving a stolen car. Nine people were arrested in relation to the events.
