20 Years: The Evolution of Mariah Carey is the fifth compilation album by American singer Mariah Carey, to be released in the United States on June 12, 2010 by Columbia Records. It is a greatest hits double album: CD 1 is primarily a collection of Carey's hits from 1990 to 1995, CD 2 is primarily a collection of hits from 1996-2000, and CD 3 contains a collection of hits from 2002 to 2009.

Following the release the compilation albums ' (1998), Greatest Hits in 2001, The Ballads in 2008, and Playlist: The Very Best of Mariah Carey in 2010, a new album was planned as a commemoration of Carey's twentieth anniversary in the music industry. The album contains majority of Carey's singles in the from 1990 to 2000, and 2002 to 2009.
