19 September 2010 Baghdad attacks

On Sunday 19th September 2010 two car bombs exploded in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad simultaneously killing at least 23 to 35 people and wounding over 105 including women and children, which can be called as the deadliest attack in a month after Eid al Fitr. Sunni insurgents targeting Shiites and security forces in Iraq are believed to be behind attacks.
Attacks
Attacker was driving a minibus and stopped saying people about visiting a doctor soon later the minibus exploded resulting in number of causalities.
The first blast was reported in Mansour district, a neighborhood in western Baghdad, killing 10 people and wounding over 10. Minutes later second explosion occurred in predominantly Shiite neighborhood of Al Kadhimiyah near the Aden Square killing over 21 people and wounding 70.
Background
Iraqis blamed the political deadlock in their country for the attacks as Iraqi authorities are struggling to form a unity government since March 2010 elections which rendered no single bloc to form a majority win and hence depending upon each other for forming a coalition government.
Further the attacks in recent days also coincided with the USA's decision to downsize its troops in Iraq and handing over the security to Iraqi forces.
