...Exact Change... is Bambu's third solo album, which was released November 3, 2008. It was re-released in 2011 as ...Exact Change...Reloaded, featuring extra tracks not included in the original.
This album, the third solo album released by Bambu, features more mature content, including his post-gang lifestyle. It reflects the changes in his life and perceptions when he began a family. His album is named for his song "Exact Change," which has multiple implications, one of which may be that one should attempt to 'exact change' in the world. It was released by Bambu's record label Beatrock Music. Beatrock Music is an independent hip hop label started by DJ/Producer Fatgums in collaboration with the Long Beach-based Beatrock clothing company. Other producers of ...Exact Change.. include Illmind, Zion I, AmpLive, Sabzi, Johnny 5, Nick James, 6Fingers, CZA and I.D. It was the last solo album from Bambu and it "bridges Bambu's very playful style with his hard-edge political/social commentary". ...Exact Change... includes many personal and political messages and is more directed towards the younger generation, especially toward his son. This album also use references to many different type of speeches and media. For example, the Malcolm X's famous speech and Iron Maiden's music.
