The Eindhoven Meta-Science Center (META/e) is dedicated to the scientific study of science itself and is hosted by Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). Using scientific methodologies, META/e aims to find and promote ways of improving scientific practices at the level of individual scientists, research groups, disciplines and the scientific community at large. It achieves this aim through education, research, public outreach, and science policy work. Their approach is highly inter-disciplinary as META/e members come from a wide range of backgrounds, including psychology, statistics, science policy, innovation science, and the history, philosophy and sociology of science.

Paul Meehl Graduate School

The Paul Meehl Graduate School is based at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) and offers graduate training focused on improving the Quality and efficiency of scientific research. It is organized by META/e, named after Paul Meehl, and aims to encourage PhD students to critically examine the foundations, methodologies, and ethical frameworks Underlying scientific practice. To this end, the school offers workshops on a variety of metascientific topics that provide PhD students with the opportunity to enhance their skills and engage in meaningful discussions with fellow metascientists. All workshops are Delivered tuition-free to ensure financial barriers do not hinder participation.
