Bertrand Oubida

Bertrand Mac Gildas Oubida (Mac) (born April 30, 1992 in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso) is a retired professional football player and Middle-distance track runner. Oubida holds the current 800 metres record at Taft Educational Campus High School located in the Bronx, NY with a time of 1:56.53 (Set in 2010). He also hold his collegiate school and conference 800m records with a time of 1:55.08 (set in 2013) ran at the Armory track in New York City, New York. As a footballer, he signed and played with the Japanese professional club FC Ryukyu (based in Okinawa) for the 2015 season before retiring later that year.
