Zionist editing on Wikipedia

Zionist editing on is an Israeli-derived term for ensuring that articles on include the Zionist point of view.
It has been called "The right's latest weapon" although this has been denied by some of those involved: "The idea is not to make rightist but for it to include our point of view," said Naftali Bennett, the director of the Yesha Council.
A course was organised in Jerusalem in August 2010. It taught how to register, contribute and edit for . The aim was "to affect Israeli public opinion by having people who share their ideological viewpoint take part in writing and editing for the Hebrew version, and to write in English so Israel's image can be bolstered abroad".
The Yesha Council also announced a prize for the "Best Zionist Editor".
Over 100 people took part in the course, nearly all of them religious and many from settlements including Beit El.
The workshop was addressed by 'veteran professionals' including Ayelet Shaked, a leader of 'My Israel, Naftali Bennett, Zohar Druckman, a social networks expert system runs and Amichai Claim, a senior editor of .
The organiser, Ayelet Shaked was interviewed on Arutz 7 Radio. She cited some examples such as the term “occupation” in entries, as well as in the editing of entries that link Israel with Judea and Samaria.
