Lennox first became enrolled in ballet lessons at the age of 2, and she continued to practice ballet throughout her childhood. In 2009, Lennox and Sarabia founded MaZi Dance Fitness Centre, a boutique fitness center focusing on dancing and women's wellness, in Wicker Park, Chicago. Lennox's background in ballet inspired her to create a fitness studio built around the techniques and ethics used in classical dance. In early 2013, MaZi Dance Fitness Studio opened a second location in the South Loop, Chicago. Later that year, Lennox launched a Kickstarter campaign to open a third location, using support from the Seed Chicago Initiative. Lennox also runs a blog called Dancing Mama Style which addresses topics such as fashion, lifestyle, fitness, and parenting. Lennox has discussed beauty and cosmetics, as well as the pressures to meet certain standards of beauty in the dance industry. Personal life Lennox has two sons. She studied finances at the University of Texas at El Paso, and earned an MBA and undergraduate degree in finances at Rochester University in New York. Lennox discovered that she was suffering an adrenal dysfunction after she visiting her doctor for a dance injury.
