Zaur Darabzada

Zaur Darabzada (31 May 1985, Baku) is an Azerbaijani entrepreneur, businessman, public figure.
Biograhpy
Darabzada Zaur Mehrab was born in 1985 in the city of Baku. In 1990, he entered the secondary school No. 18 in Baku. After graduating high school, he was admitted to the "Accounting and Auditing" faculty at the Azerbaijan College of Finance and Economics (AzCFE).In the following years, he continued his education at the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management in Ukraine, earning a bachelor's degree in "Accounting and Auditing.” Since 2019, he has been studying for a master's degree from the Taras Shevchenko National University in Kiev.He established Day.Az Radio, the first internet radio in Azerbaijan. In addition, he worked as a deputy director of the Day.Az Media company (Trend.Az, Day.Az, Milli.az, Turbo.az). In 2012, he was the marketing director of the solo concerts of world-famous stars such as Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, and Shakira, held at the Baku Crystal Hall in Azerbaijan and organized by Universal Music Group within the framework of the FIFA U-17 Women's World Championship in Baku. He created AVTO FM 107.7 radio under the Intelligent Transport Management Center of the Ministry of Transport and worked as a coordinator.In 2015, he was appointed director general of the CinemaPlus cinema network in Azerbaijan, the first in the region equipped with modern technologies. In January 2018, he was elected a member of the Board of Directors of CinemaPlus cinema network, a position he still holds. As part of his work in this field, he initiated the opening of cinemas in various regions of the country. He has represented Azerbaijan at various international events and forums held in more than 30 foreign countries since 2005.

Public activity
Acted as a representative on the managerial staff of IFASAA (International Forum of Azerbaijani Students and Alumni Abroad).He was the coordinator of more than 10 projects in the “IRELI” public association.He attended more than 50 local and international trainings.He has represented Azerbaijan at various international events and forums held in more than 30 foreign countries since 2005.In total, he has organized about 20 projects so far.From 2003 to 2019, he was a speaker at many universities in Azerbaijan.
Awards
* "Best of the Best" award from the Baku City Youth and Sports Head Office for active participation in the coverage of events related to state youth policy.
* Day.Az Radio, for promoting the history, music, and culture of Azerbaijan, received the National Award "SUCCESS" for its contribution to the development of Internet radio.
* The “Day.Az Radio" project was nominated for best project of the year by "THE SUMMIT OF SUCCESS" award.
