Zagorcani

Zagorcani or Zagorceni was a South Slavic tribe that arrived to the region of the
south-western part of today's Republic of Macedonia during the
6th and 7th century Byzantine Empire. They settled in the Pelagonia
region and had close contacts with the Draguvites Slavic tribes.
Australian born writer Tome Egumenoski conducted some research
in historical cartography
determining the locality of the Slavic tribe.
The Zagorcani tribes were part of the realm associated to the Berziti
tribes and also the Draguvites and Sagudates tribes. These Slavic tribes
had there very own Slavic language completely different to the
Slavic tribes known as the White Croats who spoke a language known as Lechitic
and arrived to a region known as Dalmatia in the 6th century.
