Yusof Mutahar (born March 18, 1990) is an Australian doctor, judoka, model, entrepreneur, and a social media influencer. Mutahar has competed for Australia in the sport of Judo. He is one of the most followed doctors on Instagram in Australia and internationally. He uses his social media following to propagate health promotion, preventative health, and fitness advice. Early Life and Education Mutahar was born in Perth Western Australia to Mohammad Mutahar and Mariam Mutahar. His parents originally migrated from Afghanistan and his father, Mohammad Mutahar is also a doctor by occupation. He is the nephew of a renowned author and scholar Mohammad Hashim Kamali. Mutahar studied at Hale School and graduated in 2007. In 2014, he achieved his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from the University of Western Australia at the age of 23. In 2018, at the age of 28, Mutahar received his specialization and fellowship in General Practice from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Furthermore, he has completed advanced training in cosmetic medicine and surgery. Career Mutahar pursued a career and specialized in general practice, believing that preventative health was the most significant aspect in reducing mortality and sickness and more could be done for patients in primary health care and in the consulting rooms than the Cath lab. Mutahar is a black belt in Judo, and in 2018 he competed for Australia in the U81kg category in Judo. He is famous for his Uchi Mata technique. Mutahar has previously worked at Joondalup Health Campus and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. Mutahar has modeled for brands such as Gucci, Champion, Calvin Klein, and Ralph Lauren. He is also a fitness model and was ranked top 10 models on Instagram in Perth. He intends to release his own men’s clothing line. Personal Life Mutahar is married to Gulaly Mutahar, and they have two children.
