Youssef Darbaki

Youssef Darbaki, (born February 15, 1964 in Casablanca), claims to be a former Moroccan footballer who played as a midfielder, participating in the 1982 World Cup Qualifiers, and that he was selected for the Morocco national football team in the 1986 World Cup squad, but that he was injured, and was unable to participate. This claim cannot be proven. The online roster list for the Chicago Power from the late 1980s and early 1990s do not list Darbaki as a player, so this claim can also not be confirmed.
While head coach at Prairie Seeds Academy, Darbaki came under fire over rumors that players he had recruited were older than MSHSL eligibility rules allowed. Carlos Mark Boquin, the player in question was listed as a freshman during the 2010-2011 season in which the Lycans won the Single-A Minnesota State Soccer title. However, according to the birth year listed on the Minnesota Kings roster, that would make Boquin a 22 year-old high school freshman.
