When Phèdre and Joscelin Verreuil are fleeing the Allies of Camlach, a Yeshuite couple, Taavi and Danele, give Phèdre and Joscelin shelter in their wagon. They recognize Joscelin as a Cassiline; the Yeshuites share an affinity with the Cassilines, alone of Elua's Companions did not break faith with the , but only turned away in shame.
