Yellow Springs Aikido

Yellow Springs Aikido (YSA) is a martial arts school located in Yellow Springs, Ohio, United States that studies Iwama style aikido as taught by O sensei and Morihiro Saito. YSA is the only dojo in Ohio that is a member of the California Aikido Association. McVey is a student of Patricia Hendricks of Aikido of San Leandro, and the developer of AikidoEncyclopedia which is a video library of 460 Iwama Style Aikido techniques. The school uses the traditional Japanese Dan ranking system as seen the photo below. Once the student reaches first kyu, they are permitted to wear hakama.
