She's a creative collard green enthusiast from Lithonia, Georgia with artistic influences ranging from Toni Morrison, Al Green, Lauryn Hill, and Dilla to every artist she has met since her spoken word days. The Lithonia native has commanded the growing subculture of Atlanta with her sophomore EP "Space & Simplicity" with Decatur based producer Prorow. Mo is on the verge of releasing her first album, "The Moment" in 2017.
Early life
She learned to rap at the age of 12 and recorded her first songs from a microphone hanging on a ceiling fan. She later attended Georgia Southern University where she majored in journalism and was one of the founding members of the Random Acts of Poetry (RAP) creative collective.
