Y2AJ

Y2AJ is a professional wrestling tag team and stable in the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) consisting of Chris Jericho and AJ Styles. Adam Rose from the Social Outcasts came up with the name "Y2AJ", which is a combination of Chris Jericho's nickname Y2J and the ring name of AJ Styles
History
Formation (2016-present)
After weeks of speculation and the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) themselves covering the rumors of AJ Styles leaving New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) for WWE, on January 20, 2016, it was confirmed that he had signed with WWE. Prior to signing, Styles had also had extensive discussions with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) and according to them, Styles had agreed to return to the promotion with Bullet Club stablemates Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson, before being offered a "blow-away deal" by WWE. Chris Jericho made his return on the January 4, 2016 episode of Raw to confront The New Day, announcing that he would participate in the 2016 Royal Rumble match.
After not being on WWE television since 2002, Styles officially made his return to WWE on January 24, 2016, at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view during the Royal Rumble match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, entering at number three and receiving a loud ovation. Styles went on to eliminate Curtis Axel and Tyler Breeze, before being eliminated by Kevin Owens, lasting just under 28 minutes in the match. Jericho entered as the sixth entrant, lasting over 50 minutes, before finally being eliminated by Dean Ambrose.
The following night on the January 25 episode of Raw, Jericho appeared in a backstage segment with the returning AJ Styles, and later lost in a singles match against him. After initial hesitation by Jericho, the pair shook hands. On the February 4 Smackdown, Jericho challenged Styles to a rematch the next week, asking if "he was good enough to beat him twice", which Styles accepted. On the February 8 episode of Raw, Styles interrupted a Highlight Reel (originally Miz TV) segment, coming to the aid of Jericho after he had been attacked from behind by The Miz. On the February 11 SmackDown, Jericho and Styles defeated the Social Outcasts members Adam Rose and Curtis Axel in an impromptu match; during which both men tried to one-up each other. Later in the main event, Jericho defeated Styles via a Codebreaker. On the February 15 episode of Raw, after Styles defeated The Miz, Styles challenged Jericho to a match at Fastlane, which he initially declined on SmackDown; Styles then attacked him, to provoke him to accepting the match. At Fastlane, Styles defeated Jericho with the Calf Crusher submission, after that they again shook hands.
The night after Fastlane, on the February 22 episode of Raw, Styles and Jericho were interrupted by the Social Outcasts, later they formed a tag team (dubbed as Y2AJ) and defeating Heath Slater and Curtis Axel. On the February 25 episode of SmackDown, Styles, Jericho and Mark Henry defeated The New Day in a six-man tag team match. On the February 29 episode of Raw, Y2AJ defeated WWE Tag Team Champions Kofi Kingston & Big E of The New Day in a non-title match. After the match, Styles and Jericho challenged The New Day to a WWE Tag Team Championship match, which WWE confirmed later that night would take place on the March 7 episode of Raw.
