Xtreme Agile Progamming, a software development methodology, refers to the evolution of Agile Programming with the addition of next generation real time communication technologies. Core Philosophy Xtreme Agile Programming (XAP) grew from the need to get out more business-ready deliverables at each sprint or iteration of the work cycle. While Agile Programming typically focuses on developing end modules, XAP focuses on functional prototypes that deliver to a very specific business need. XAP often pairs up a business owner with the programming process to reduce the disconnect that occurs in having infrequent connects (i.e., review sessions). |
