Xbox Dashboard

The Xbox Dashboard is the graphical user interface for the Xbox and Xbox 360 game consoles. Upon booting the screen turns black, and if no game is inserted, the dashboard is shown. An update was recently released (Fall 2010) for the dashboard with some new features. Third-party Third-party homebrew developers have released a number of unofficial replacement dashboards for modded Xboxes (the first-generation Xbox game console only). Replacement dashboards may include additional features such as media playing capabilities, FTP server, customisable skins, saved game (cheats) downloads, and launcher for having multiple Xbox games on the Xbox built-in hard drive.
