Xander Cage

Xander Cage is the fictional character created by Rich Wilkes in the . He is portrayed by Vin Diesel and the main protagonist in xXx (2002) and recently xXx: Return of Xander Cage (2017). Cage is a thrill seeking extreme sports enthusiast, stuntman and rebellious athlete-turned-reluctant spy for the National Security Agency and thus become the first xXx operative.

Xander Cage (or simply referred to as X by his friends) is a rebellious thrill-seeker with a notorious reputation. After destroying a Senator's Corvette, he was employed by Agent Augustus Gibbons of the NSA as an undercover agent with the mission of infiltrating a terrorist organization referred to as Anarchy 99. He reluctantly accepted his assignment to avoid imprisonment for his crimes.
The Final Chapter: The Death of Xander Cage
In the short film, Xander is played by Vin Diesel's stunt double Khristian Lupo (who never shows his face or speaks) while reusing some archival lines spoken by Diesel. It also features Leila Arcieri as Jordan King from the first film and John G. Connolly as Lt. Colonel Alabama "Bama" Cobb, one of the villains from xXx: State of the Union, as the man behind the attack on Xander.
xXx: State of the Union
Xander Cage was supposedly killed off after his initial assignment and was replaced by Darius Stone, who is sent to Washington, DC to defuse a power struggle amongst national leaders.
xXx: Return of Xander Cage
Xander Cage was found alive and well by CIA Agent Jane Marke, has been living in a self-imposed exile in Dominican Republic. He have a collision course with deadly alpha warrior and his team in a race to recover a sinister and seemingly unstoppable weapon known as Pandora's Box. Recruiting an all-new group of thrill-seeking cohorts, Xander finds himself enmeshed in a deadly conspiracy that points to collusion at the highest levels of world governments.
Characterization
Xander Cage has many skills thanks to his affinity with extreme sports, first of all his physical abilities, particularly his strength, agility, endurance, and his reflexes. He is also shown to possess a quick mind and deductive skills, as he is able to easily understand the deception of Agent Augustus Gibbons.
Xander Cage is a good marksman with firearms; by his own admission: "No, I had my leg in a cast for about three months. All I did was play first-person shooter video games."
Because of being an extreme sports practitioner, Xander Cage is familiar with the basics of equipment given to him by the NSA due to the similarities with his own equipment such as the parachute. His love of speed has led him to be proficient in the handling of many types of vehicle.
Agent Gibbons describes the Triple X tattoo on Xander's neck indicates his three major crimes:
* Auto Theft
* Reckless driving
* Jumping off a bridge
Relationships
In the first film, Xander's love interest is Yelena, an FSB undercover in Anarchy 99. During xXx: Return of Xander Cage, Xander was in relationship with Gina Roff in Dominican Republic. At the end of the third film, Serena Unger is Xander's new love interest.
