Wrong winner election

An election result may be called a Wrong Winner Election when it results in the party or candidate with the most or the plurality of votes either not winning a majority and/or becoming the largest party. It most commonly occurs under plurality voting but can occur under other systems.
Examples
*The UK elections of 1951 The Conservatives won a majority of seats while Labour won most votes, and the February 1974 Labour won the most seats while The Conservatives got more votes.
*The 1981 Maltese general election was held under STV however this lead to the Labour party winning despite the Nationalist Party winning more votes, this lead to the Nationalist boycotting parliament and a change to the system for future elections.
*The United States Presidential elections of 1824, 1876, 1888, 2000 and 2016.
*2019 Canadian federal election The Conservatives gained the most votes however the Liberal Party won most seats and formed the government.
