Writing Short Stories

Creating a short story is fairly easy when you understands it well enough. If you follow these steps, you can have a plot, setting and some good characters for your short story.
1. Choose the genre. e.x. Fiction, Fantasy, Romance, Mystery e.t.c.

2. Decide what your story is going to be about.
3. Make a web of ideas with five big things that are going to happen in your story.
4. Build on those ideas.
5. Think of an unique character name. Not something like Bob or Joe. Something interesting.
6. Let your imagination go wild! Write down the first thing you can think of, and make your story flow nicely.
7. PRACTICE.
If you follow these steps, you can write an amazing short story. Trust me, I started out not knowing how to even write. But I learned how, and now I write level 4 short stories for school. Plus, it might even be more fun to write for fun, and when your teacher asks for a short story, you don't even have to lift a finger to write it, because it is already finished.
