Worthday, September 13, is a day when people show their appreciation to other special individuals with cards, gifts or words. The day became used to honor others, not just because they were born on a certain day, but because their existence was meaningful. The first Worthday was celebrated September 13, 2006. The event has also been celebrated by the Unitarian Universalists of Petuluma, California. Also a celebration of membership on Worth1000. A similar new holiday known as Festivus came about as a result of its being portrayed on the TV Sitcom Seinfeld |
