World Wrestling Coalition

The World Wrestling Coalition is a Mid-West Independent professional wrestling promotion based in Aberdeen, Ohio.
History
The World Wrestling Coalition (WWC) was formed in the fall of 2003 by Mike Parks as an alternative to the hardcore and attitude filled wrestling promotions around the Ohio area. It was started as a family friendly pro-wrestling company.
In 2006, Parks sold the company to announcer/booker Jeremiah L. Young. Since then, the WWC has branched out of its Cherry Fork, Ohio home and began putting on shows in West Union, Ohio, Hillsboro, Ohio, Georgetown, Ohio, and in 2009 made Aberdeen, Ohio its new monthly home. In the fall of 2009, ownership of the company fell into the hands of former wrestler and booker Ric Byrne. Young and Parks remain on staff within the company.
WWC is currently producing its own online content found at its YouTube page and DVDs that it sells at its own shows.

Notable WWC Events
On August 9, 2008 the World Wrestling Coalition put on a supershow at the Municipal Building in Aberdeen, OH to raise money for young Ryan Nolder, to help him raise money for a surgery to help with his Optic Nerve Hypoplasia. Total Non-Stop Action provided local stars Abyss and Shark Boy for the show.

On June 26, 2009 the World Wrestling Coalition launched their first ever Wrestle4Hope show to help raise money for the Kentucky based Cancer Care Club.. The Event was held at the Aberdeen, OH Municipal Building.
