World War II.5

World War 2.5, WW2.5, or WW2+ is the genre that augments or continues World War II beyond historically accepted technologies or time lines to enhance a story's plot. The majority of WW2.5 works cover the "what if" scenarios of Nazis or the Axis powers have greater technologies or altered time lines (i.e. surviving the end of World War II). Less common, but the same idea is "what if" scenarios where the allied powers have more advanced technologies or altered time lines than history.
