World of Guns: Gun Disassembly

World of Guns: Gun Disassembly is a 2013 free-to-play simulation video game developed by Noble Empire. It lets you delve into the inner workings of guns from the largest gears to the smallest screws. It is currently available to play through Facebook, Kongregate, VK and Steam.
Development
World of Guns: Gun Disassembly first appeared as a demo of "Gun Disassembly 2 for browsers" on Jan. 8, 2013. It included just one gun and two modes; disassembly and assembly. It was powered by the Unity game engine and was supported on all browsers on Mac and PC. On May 18, 2013, the Ultimate Disassembly beta began. This is the game as we know it today with a research map and achievements. However, the Ultimate Disassembly project was originally focused on complex objects like cars, helicopters, planes and so on; not about guns. Unfortunately it had a failed kickstarter so they decided to just merge it with Gun Disassembly 2 for browsers which was also using the Unity game engine. The guns were now the main topic and the other models were to be later included as bonus models. In Nov. 2013, it was released on VK as World of Guns: Gun Disassembly.
Reception
World of Guns: Gun Disassembly has received positive reviews. User reviews on Steam has been very positive.
