WisR GmbH is a social enterprise headquartered in Vienna, Austria. The company provides an online job marketplace for active retirees and employers. History WisR GmbH was founded in 2017 by Klaudia Bachinger, Carina Roth, and Martin Melcher with help from the Social Business Call Program of the Vienna Business Agency. In 2019, WisR expanded its services to Germany. The company was a finalist for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2019 in the Social Entrepreneur category. Funding WisR completed a seed round of financing of €250,000 in July 2018. On March 12, 2019, Co-Founders Klaudia Bachinger and Carina Roth appeared on the sixth season of 2 Minuten 2 Millionen, the Austrian version of Shark Tank. |
