Whittlesea United is an Australian association football (soccer) club from Whittlesea, a northern suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The club home ground and facilities is the Thomas Street Recreation Reserve on 21A Thomas Street in Thomastown, and also play some home fixtures at the Epping Stadium, Harvest Home Road in Epping. The clubs most recent success was in 2007, becoming Champions of the 2007 Victorian Mens Provisional League Div 2 North-West. Whittlesea United currently compete in the 2009 Victorian Mens Provisional League Div 1 North-West, the sixth tier of the Australian football (soccer) league system. |
