Whitney Bedford (born Baltimore, 1976) is an American contemporary artist known for her conceptual paintings of shipwrecks, icebergs, and landscapes. She studied and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1998, and was then awarded a Fulbright scholarship to paint in Berlin, Germany for two years. She also attended University of California, Los Angeles to earn her Master of Fine Arts in 2003 and has since resided in Los Angeles, California. She is represented by Art: Concept Gallery in Paris, France and Susanne Vielmetter Los Angeles Projects in Los Angeles, CA. Her work has shown at various art galleries in America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
