History
The site began in 2006 and began to publish articles under the name Obsessed With Film, aiming to be, as the site's testimony says, a "news destination and conversation hub about all things Hollywood". Since then, the site has grown into one of the busiest entertainment based websites of its kind, for which the site's editors attribute to "high-quality and informative content from expert contributors across all our different genres, topics and mediums".
In October, 2015, the business moved into new offices in Gateshead; occupying 5,550 sq ft of space.
On May 25, 2016, WhatCulture.com announced - via their WhatCulture Wrestling YouTube channel - the formation of a new wrestling promotion, What Culture Pro Wrestling (WCPW).
Books and Publication
In January, 2016, WhatCulture.com launched their first eBook "100 Worst Wrestling Moments Of 2015". The book received largely positive reviews (4.5 stars) on Amazon.com and topped their best sellers list in the Wrestling category.
WhatCulture.com has also published two further publications to date, including a quarterly magazine.
