Life and Carreer
Werner Ressdorf was born August 26th 1954 in Rio de Janeiro.
He was the 4th child of 5 children. His parents were Friede Auguste Marie Wilhelmnovna Liebscher Ressdorf, born Liebscher and Friedrich Robert Ressdorf. In his childhood he was pupil at Colegio Cruzeiro" School in Rio de Janeiro. When he was 14 he switched to Colégio Vasco da Gama.
1969 he and his family went back to Stuttgart, Germany. In Stuttgart he visited the "Technische Oberschule" and made an apprenticeship as machine building technician. Later (1974-1975) he was a member of Light Aircraft Group at the German armed forces. 1975 he made a second education as industrial manager at International Telephone and Telegraph Corporation (SEL- ITT) in Stuttgart. Later (1984-1985) he did an advanced training in marketing at Württembergische Verwaltungs- und Wirtschafts-Akademie e.V. Afterwards he worked as sales executive for several companies.
In 1992, he was one ofthe counselor agents of Daimler Benz Company for Earth Summit.
Among other things he lead several workshops from time to time for students from Marketing Forum Hohenheim e.V. of Hohenheim University.
By now he is one of the candidates for the election of Lord Major of Stuttgart , .His principal points are the supporting of the business location of Stuttgart, making Stuttgart more bicycle friendly, several environment projects, making better conditions of employment in the Administration of the city, supporting culture (e.g. the opera, the theatre, ballet and Art), social projects ( daycare facility for children, schools..), affordable housing space for Students, single parents and low-income earner and last but not least to decrease financial depts.
