Wenticko

Wenticko is the name of a real-life ghost on the Caribbean island nation of Jamaica.
Wenticko is a duppy (ghost) well known to locals by name around Kellits, Clarendon, Jamaica.
Wenticko first appeared in the mid-1990s and has made frequent appearances, most often coinciding with the sugar cane harvest season. This spirit haunts and possesses one lady in particular named Carrie. There are many stories and speculations on the origin of Wenticko. Once you get to know the locals, they will open up and dazzle you with a variety of tales. Most of them are second or third hand, but if you are diligent, you will eventually find people who admit to eyewitness experiences of these odd hauntings.
