Wellingborough and Kettering Urban Area

| North and West Northamptonshire is the name given to the merging of all the Northamptonshire boroughs and districts. The merger would see the districts of Daventry, Northampton and South Northamptonshire being merged into the West Northamptonshire District and the districts and boroughs of Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough and East Northamptonshire being merged into the North Northamptonshire District. This would mean both the districts would be separate authorities but remain in the ceremonial county of Northamptonshire. The population according to BBC would be for West Northamptonshire, 401,996 and for West Northamptonshire, 343,614 respectively. |
