WebDrive

WebDrive is an Installable File System / Network File System for the Microsoft Windows OS which allows for the ability to associate, or map, a drive letter to a remote web server running FTP, SFTP, FTP/S, WebDAV, Amazon S3, or Microsoft FrontPage extensions. Developed by South River Technologies and originally released in 1997 for Windows 95, WebDrive was the first commercially available product to provide such functionality within the Windows OS.
Over the years, the technology used in WebDrive has been licensed to companies such as Novell and Xdrive for use within their product lines and services.
The latest version of the software is 11.0. WebDrive integrates WebDAV, FTP, Amazon S3, Google Drive or SFTP servers so that linked server resources function as a mapped network drive.
