We can all go home is the informal title of the speech that Colonel William F. Guile (Jean Claude Van Damme) gives to the AN forces in the movie Street Fighter after he has been ordered to cancel his assault on General M. Bison's (Raul Julia) headquarters. The speech is held in front of the AN Headquarters in the fictional South-East Asian city of Shadaloo (presumably located in Thailand). The Speech Aftermath In the ensuing chaos the AN soldiers disobey direct orders in order to follow Guile's original attack plan. Guile boards his stealth boat followed by his two closest officers, Cammy and T. Hawk. When the AN representative asks Guile to stop the soldiers he responds with the remark: "Hey, I would love to, but some moron just canned me." Referring to the fact that the same representative had relieved Guile of his command before handing him the troops' . |
