Wawatay Kids TV

Wawatay Kids TV (2002-2006) was a Canadian children's television program on the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network, geared to kids aged 4 to 10. The series is about a group of children who belong to "The Little Eagles" clubhouse. Each episode they are faced with a problem, and with the help of Sampson Sasquatch, Bonnie Bearpaw, Megesi the Eagle and Jacob Banks, they learn something new. Each episode teaches "basic Ojibwa, oral storytelling, as well as life and wildnerness lessons."
The series was produced by Wawatay Native Communications Society, and was created by Michael Dubé. It was filmed in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Sioux Lookout and Thunder Bay in Northwestern Ontario, Canada.
