Vivienne Jolie-Pitt (born Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt) was born on July 12, 2008 at the Foundation Leneval hospital in Nice, France. Vivienne is the sixth child for actor Brad Pitt and actress Angelina Jolie, and is the sister of Maddox Chivan, 6, Pax Thien, 4, Zahara Marley, 3, Shiloh Nouvel, 2, and is the fraternal twin of Knox Leon Jolie-Pitt. Her grandparents are Jon Voight and the late Marcheline Bertrand, along with William and Jane Pitt of Missouri. She also has two uncles (actor James Haven and computer store owner Doug Pitt) and an aunt, Julie Pitt Neal. Vivienne (meaning "alive" in Latin) was given the middle name Marcheline in honor of her late grandmother, Marcheline Bertrand, who died on January 27, 2007 after battling seven and a half years with ovarian cancer. |
