VisualMILL-for-SolidWorks is a computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) program developed by MecSoft Corporation (Irvine, CA). VisualMILL-for-SoldWorks is a value driven, integrated CAM solution that provides CNC programming functionality directly within SolidWorks, a popular 3D mechanical computer-aided design (CAD) system. One of the many benefits of an integrated CAM solution is that it provides a very similar user interface that the CAD user is already familiar with. This typically allows for reduced training and support needs. MecSoft Corporation announced the release of VisualMILL-for-SolidWork in July 2008 . In May 2009, VisualMILL-for-SolidWorks received Gold Partner Product certification from SolidWorks, a very prestigious, rare and difficult certification. In July 2009, VisualMILL-for-SolidWorks was recognized by Desktop Engineering magazine as an editors pick. |
