for poor writing for articles needing expert attention for lack of verifiability I use the phrase "Virtue of Laziness" in my classes where I teach electronics technicians from across the globe. It is used to describe a mindset the states, "I will do the repair job correctly the first time as I am lazy and do not want to be bothered by this equipment next week." Using the virtue of laziness, I will train everyone around me to know what I know as far as troubleshooting is concerned to avoid being awakened in the middle of the night to solve an elementary problem. Using the virtue of laziness philosophy, I will learn to communicate with those around me in such a manner as to arrive at the root of the problem quickly and efficiently. There are many variations on this theme, but it serves as a humorous way of getting a point across to everyone to pay attention to the details of their craft as they go though their day to day repairs.
