Vipin Das

Vipin Das (born 23 February 1984) is an Indian film writer and director who works in the Malayalam film industry. He have written and directed two films, Mudhugauv released on 2016 and Antakshari released 2022. and his Third movie Jaya Jaya Jaya JAYA HEY going to start the shoot on second quarter of 2022.
Mudhugauv (2016) film was a black comedy movie produced by Friday Film House which was commercially and critically successful. He tried a new kind of film making style, which is appreciated by the film enthusiasts.
Antakashari (2022) film co- produced by the famous Indian Film Director Jeethu Joseph. Antakshari is the first indian film in musical thriller genre. Antakshari is the one of the most awaited movies in malayalam film industry in 2022 because of the genre, cast and crew of the movie.
Jaya Jaya Jaya JAYA HEY (2022) is a social satire film of an average indian girl who is facing gender discrimination, partiality, patriarchy and male chauvinism in current India. Lead by Darshana Rajendran and Basil Joseph. The movie shoot will begin by second quarter of the year.
Early Career
Vipin Das began his career in 2006 as a shortfilm director while he was working with a multinational company in New Delhi. After resigning his job on 2011 he continued to do shortfilms and commercials under the banner of myeye productions.
in 2013 he did a shorfilm called Unnimmolam writtern by Deepu Pradeep, lead by Aju Varghese. Unnimoolam was a funfilled feel good shortfilm and got recognition in social media and he got a chance to direct a movie under the banner of Friday Film House.
Personal life
Vipin das was born as the elder son of Haridas and Geetha Kumari in Thiruvananthapuram. On 30th August, 2013, Vipin Das married Aswathy Jayakumar, with whom he was in a relationship for over seven years. They have a daughter called Isha. Aswathy Jayakumar is a Costume Deisgner who has done costumes for several commercials and movies Antakshari and upcomimg movie Jaya Jaya Jaya JAYA HEY.
