Vinny Castronovo

Vincent "Vinny" Castronovo Jr. (born 8 April 1997) is an American dancer and choreographer. He is a former member of the ICONic Boyz dance crew, whom competed on America's Best Dance Crew (season ), and placed second. He was also featured in Beyonce's video as a background dancer.
Life and career
Castronovo was born on April 8, 1997, in Freehold, New Jersey. He is of Puerto Rican and Italian descent. He is younger brother to Alessandra Castronovo, who is a singer, and Bianca Castronovo. When he was four family relocated to Millstone, New Jersey. Castronovo showed a passion for dance at an early age, having grown around music. As a child, he was severely bullied due to his passion towards dancing. He was taken out of his school system for a year because of this. However, he returned in 2011, when he was in the sixth grade, where he continued to be bullied. In October 2008, Castronovo began dancing at ICON dance complex in Englishtown, New Jersey.
In 2011, he was among one of the boys picked from ICON to audition for America's Best Dance Crew. Castronovo and the "ICONic Boyz" later competed and placed second. Later during the year, Castronovo decided to leave the crew as well as ICON dance complex, due to sponsors offering acting and music careers, whilst Castronovo only wanted to dance.
Since then, he has appeared in Beyonce's video as a background dancer, has performed in WKTU's Beatstock, in the Apollo Theater, and in Madison Square Garden, and has gone on tour. He was also featured in State Farm's :26 seconds "BMOR" campaign.

Personal life
Castronovo's family owns a pizza parlor named Albivi, a combination of Alessandra, Bianca, and Vinny.
Castronovo's "Stand GRAND" campaign advertising him, but also works to promote anti-bullying.
He calls his fans "Granders" because his favorite word is "Grand."
